I
really want an Ironbound drake because I love the model. Although Blizzard has not announced plans to remove them, but I don't want to risk missing the opportunity to get one in case they do in 4.0.3. I tried looking for a raid on the official forums, but no bites so far:
http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/threa ... 9108&sid=1Caldar thinks I should just lead one.
That would be the easiest solution, but it's very hard to lead a successful 25man when I don't have a foundation of good, interested people. If anything, I mostly have a lot of people who probably don't care since they are no longer 310, or because they still hate Ulduar. On top of that, leading one would conflict with Malholis' weekly Udular raid, and I know they struggle to fill (their goals are fragments though, ours would be 100% about the meta).
So I'm asking here. If I can get a solid core of people who are interested, then maybe I will give it a go.
I would do it
Tuesday and Wednesday night from 8-10.30pm. Hopefully we could get it all done in one week with five hours but if not, we would run again the next week. If it takes more than two weeks, it's probably not happening and we wouldn't do a third week unless we were really close (~1 achiev away). So, that's a lot of bonus raiding hours but consider that it's only short term. Most of us are only running like one raid now so maybe people are more open to the time.
edit: It will be the 26th, 27th, 2nd, 3rd, 8-10.30pmSo, anyone interested and available? I imagine getting enough good tanks and healers will be key.
I'm still setting up the roster and planning strategy. In the meantime, here are the raid rules:
Invites! If you don't accept your calendar invite, don't expect to be invited unless we're short on people. Priority on spots will be based on who responds to their calendar invite first and I'm going to assume people who don't respond are not actually interested and seek out replacements. So please, if you want to go, respond. Priority for open spots is also given to those who can make all the days because it would really suck if someone missed some achievements because I invited another person who couldn't stay for them all anyway.
Loot Rules!I'm leaving this on group loot. If you want something, roll need. This includes BoEs and runed orbs. Otherwise, disenchant or greed away.
Sucking!I don't normally need to say this with MCA but because we have PuGs I will: I don't care if you're on a fresh 80 in badge gear and your character is doing bad DPS as long as you're trying. I do care if your badness is is facepulling, is excessively AFK or offine, isn't following directions, or is wiping us. So be awesome, hooray.
Follow Instructions! If I assign you to interrupts or dispels or kiting or add duty, please make sure you actually do so. Teamwork often requires people to do things that compromise personal DPS but tend to result in more winning for the group. We're going for success here, not epeen.
Vent Rules! Please no vent chatter during fights. Joke around all you want in /raid and between fights but shut up when we enter combat. I am uptight about distracting people who want to talk about stupid shit on vent. People doing fight mechanic call outs will be assigned.
