So at this point we're on the LK, but without two regulars to fill out the roster, which if anything chews up our ability to whittle through his defenses and get him down.

At this point I'm of the opinion that we need to make these two spots filled with regulars. We know we need a Shaman, but we also know that we can't expect Aryeh/Tziva to be by every night, as she's a sub currently. So!

We're doing another full clear, and I will see about finding a replacement shaman/10th man that we can gear up with minimal grief. Does anyone have any suggestions at this point as to who we could/should invite who can keep up with us?

BTW, we will still work on the LK at the end of the week, but I'm against extending the raid until we have regulars in those slots. Let me know if you disagree.

Fiad.

PS: IF there's no server there's no raid for tonight, but we'll see how things are. I haven't checked on FM's status since last night.

Not that you asked, but... I can make every Wednesday night, it's just Sundays when I won't be on until between 8.30 and 9pm which, of course, means up to a half hour past your start time. But in lieu of you finding a reserved shaman, I'm happy to come as often as you need.

Of course, there is also the point that my focus on Aryeh has always been resto so while my healer gear is quite good, my DPS set is fairly weak.

If we're working on the Lich King on Sundays, starting a half hour late isn't a particularly big deal, since we run short those nights anyhow. And if you want to gear up Aryeh for smacky, hey, we'll help! >.> Not to mention we've shuffled days and times for other, lesser shamans in the past.

What I'm saying is "If you want to be a for real regular instead of coming pretty much every time I would /cheer."

Well, before you get too anxious to fill the spot, consider:

The being-late thing might not be an issue now but it may be once you've killed Lich King and are doin' hardmodes, it might be an unreasonable burden to your schedule.

Also, my DPS. It's bad (I think Fiad beat me on a couple fights). It doesn't have good synergy with your other DPSers. While I'm sure a portion of my shoddy performance is just simply that Enhance is cumbersome and unfamiliar to me (even questing, I usually just stay resto and spam lightning bolt), but there is also a ceiling as to how much I can contribute with my gear, raid synergy and dropping the totems I need to for your comp. So, I may get better, but I will probably never be awesome on her.

Anyway, I like you guys and I really like playing Aryeh; it is a nice break from Tziva, so I'm around if'n you want/need me.

Um, also, if possible, I would still really love to keep being your backup healing when Phin (or another healer) is gone. Resto healing is really what I enjoy most.

TL:DR of Tziva's post:

I wanna heal, make Jori or Phin dps!

j/k, maybe.

ps. I'm totally ok with you finding another mage. I has alt(imers).
pps. Heroism is good
ppps. Mages get Time Warp (Heroism) at 85.

Yeah, no. :P

Kor doesn't have an offspec, Phin's is a second healing spec, and I think Dulc is still building her offspec and probably has gear on par with mine. But also they signed up as healers and earned reserved as healers and I'd never ask or expect them to switch roles for a sub.

Mostly I was asking if, whatever you decide, I could still be your backup healer -- the healing sub or the flex healer for when a reserved healer is absent or for when you need a fourth healer -- to let me to that job and find a DPS sub instead. Not just because I prefer healing but also because I'm much better at it. :P

/target Sinister
/use The Heartbreaker
/say Shut it.

I loves my tree, I do, but I also wanna do what's best for the raid. Mind you, I have ALL the cat gear I need, but Jory's offspec is bear, and we dun need another bear. I did tell Fiad if it was more convenient ya'll could have Dulcy. She is 80, and minus the trinket outta stupid heroic FoS is as well geared as I can get her so far. Survival spec, so she can offer replen.

TL; DR, I have alternates who would provide more dps if needed/gives us heroism.

Just let me know!

Meddle not in a Dulcea's affairs for you are crunchy and my owl is hungry.

Taius would like nothing more than to not be a healer. Any way we can manage it.

Ideal for the raid would be if I could magically have a 5000+ gearscore on Taius (Stuns stuns and more stunned Val'kyr) and two shadowpriests is redundant/I'll never match Zsari anyway. I realize that this is not Tai's gearscore (he's around 4500.) Heroic-spamming is slow as DPS, so I can't promise that will change quickly. Regardless of what happens, I'm willing to accommodate however I can. Even if it means I'm still healing.

Aryeh-healer and Taius-stab would be fine by me, and I'm more than happy to speed up a heroic queue, or hang out in queues for specific instances you need drops for. (Verali wants a crossbow anyhow. >.>)

I pronounce this fine. Let me know if you need a tank for gearing and badgers.

If I'm on, taius, i'm more than happy to help fill out a heroic group with a tank or DPS.

Hey, maybe we can all suffer me dk tanking.....

Also, look at what of the IC 5-mans you *need* gear out of, and queue up for those specifically first, then do randoms. There's always the chance that they'll pop up again.

Maxim 35. That which does not kill you has made a tactical error.
