So we're losing our only group healer and the entire raid leadership is trying to pack and move, leaving us pretty screwed. Taius has leveled his Disc priest to 80, who can pick up the healing slack but will cost our best DPS, and his work schedule means he won't be available all the time. Immari is leveling a boomkin to fill what was our last DPS slot (though the loss of Taius means we'll still have one). I'm not sure where this leaves us for the next few weeks, though; it seems pretty much that what little progress we've made is going to grind to a halt, and that will in turn make it much harder to find people. Anyone have any suggestions as to where we go from here?

Well, I'll go back to recruiting and doing heroics for starters. It'll be a pain because I'm still trying to pack, but not a lot of choices there. I'll have no internet for about a week from May 22 on, but to be honest I was planning on putting the raid on hiatus for that time anyway. With us having to regear 2-3 people, it's probable we're going to have to look at running Naxx for a bit longer than I had hoped. With luck we can get them up and running by the end of June, though.

With the shuffle we've had we'll have to adjust, but that's not anything new. We'll still play about with Ulduar on Sunday nights until we've got everyone geared and ready for it.

If you need a geared healer and you're heading for Ulduar, Tenshi is looking for a 10 man since Nom Nom disbanded. Perhaps she will be a more desireable raid member than Ma'at was.

If not, that's fine.

My only concern about taking Tenshi is that it would make all three of our healers paladins -- a lack of good raid healing would remain a problem, since pallies just aren't built that way, even when (like Tenshi) they are very well-geared and well-played.

That would be my concern as well, tbh. A Priest or Druid would be ideal, or a shaman I suppose. With the desire to transition into Ulduar I think solid AOE healing is somewhat needed.

I really don't know how well 3 paladins would fair in that environment never having played my paladin as holy. The other 10 man group I run with has a Holy Priest, a Disc Priest, and a Resto Druid.

Not that this helps with our DPS issue, but if a Holy Priest would work better for Ulduar than Disc, with our current set up, I don't mind swapping Phin that way to help out. Of course, ideally, we'll find a well geared, well played AoE healer to come along, and then not lose Tai's DPS. Whatever route we have to go, I'm willing and fine with.

Well, at this point because of my moving as well as a few others, 9-man's on break until June 3rd. At which point in time we're going to need to regear some people up before we're ready for Ulduar.

After the last couple weeks I am getting a bit tired of folks grabbing gear and running, especially when we need reliable regulars and to gear a few people up.

If you guys come across anyone who might be good for this while I'm offline, feel free to let me know. Additionally, I can go heal-spec if that would help at all and we can find a decent tank.

I will be working on gathering up some rep gear (some of them are better than Naxx) for Phinius while we're on down time. My computer and internet connection have both been moved to the new place, so I'll have a lot more time than I have in the last week or so. I am feeling a lot more comfortable healing than I was earlier, and at this point I think it's just a matter of snagging some gear. If I can help in any other way, let me know.
